Campaign to change negative perceptions about Hawkers in Mexico.
The spanish sunglasses brand Hawkers posted a tweet saying “Mexicans, put on these glasses so they can’t see your crying eyes tomorrow when building the wall.”
A furious Sergio Pérez (F1 driver) reacted by dumping one of his personal sponsors
“I have decided to split with the brand because I am not in favour at all of the comment” Pérez said.
This left the brand in a very bad position in one of its biggest market.
