Logo Design & Visual Brand Identity
Founded in 2019, De tu arte a mi arte (From your art to my art) is a YouTube & TikTok channel about design and art with the aim of inspiring the Latino community to create.
In order to expand from only street art content to graphic design, the channel's entire look & feel had to be redesigned from scratch.
This brand identity draws inspiration from the keywords odyssey, perception, and evolution in order to capture the attention of young creatives.
After brainstorming, I had a path to follow, but it is always a good idea to step back and reflect on what the project is all about and who the target audience is.
Due to the fact that this is a young audience, the idea is to have a fresh and exciting look & feel without losing its essence.
With this concept in mind and based on my keywords, a mood board was created on Pinterest https://pin.it/750gAKm to gather inspiration.
The brand name consists of 6 words and "Arte" is repeated twice so the challenge is to make it functional and readable, after playing around with different directions the result was very satisfying.
Despite the fact that the text is ununiform, it works in harmony and represents the spectator's perception.
As the feeling of excitement is not yet there, it is essential to incorporate a graphic element to reach the next level. Based on the mood board, the aurora effect seems to provide the best balance.
After trying many forms, the aurora circles fully balance the logo.
The circles are composed of 3 different colours: green symbolizes the odyssey of the project since it was the original colour chosen, while purple and pink symbolize the brand's evolution and its youthful appeal.
(It is worth mentioning that since I was my own client in this project, I didn't have to present more routes, as I would usually do).
